A glass you fill through the day.
Brim is a water tracker for iPhone. Your day is a glass, and the water rises as you fill it.

It's a small app maintained by one person, so replies may take a few days.
Where is my data? Your drinking log, goal, and settings stay on your iPhone and are never transmitted anywhere. Brim has no account. The free version does show one ad a day, and the ad network collects its own data to do that — the privacy policy explains exactly what.
Can I get rid of the ad? Yes — one payment, in Settings, and it is gone permanently. Not a subscription. After that Brim makes no ad request at all.
There's a faint dashed line above the water — what is it? It marks where the day's clock has reached. When you're ahead of that pace the line sits below the waterline and isn't drawn at all, so on a good day you never see it. That's deliberate, not a bug.
Why don't I get reminders when I'm doing well? Also deliberate. Drink a large bottle and the next few nudges are skipped; reach your goal and they stop for the day. You can change the hours and frequency in Settings, or turn them off entirely.
Where are the streaks? There aren't any, and there won't be. A missed day isn't a punishment.
My late-night glass counted as yesterday. That's the "Day starts at" setting, which defaults to 4:00 AM — a drink before that hour counts toward the day before, which is usually what people mean. You can change it in Settings.
Can I delete everything? Settings → "Clear all data" removes all of it permanently. Deleting the app also removes it.
Brim counts the amounts you enter against a goal you choose. It does not give health advice, does not recommend an intake amount, and does not read or write Apple Health. If you have questions about how much water you should drink, ask a doctor, not an app.
